Our Story
Why Timlalin Dunes Is Different
Unlike Morocco's distant desert destinations such as Merzouga or Zagora — both more than 8 hours from Agadir — Timlalin Dunes offers an authentic Sahara-style landscape only 50 to 60 minutes away by car. It is one of the very few places in the world where massive golden sand dunes rise directly beside the Atlantic Ocean.
The area is also home to the rare Northern Bald Ibis, one of the most endangered birds on Earth, which nests in the coastal canyon cliffs of Timlalin every spring. Whether you call it Timlalin, Timlaline, or Timaline, this stretch of Morocco's Atlantic coast remains one of Agadir's best-kept secrets.
